People most definitely still use those phones. My neighbor, my parents, my co worker, AT MY JOB. It's called a land line and is not extinct, by any means. Most businesses still use them. How do you think a store answers the phone? That's all still land lines
Surprise surprise, we actually had a landline for ages. We still have one through the cable company. My Nana had an actual landline, the one that works even without power, but AT&T is going to supposedly start shutting that service down.
Also, Captain Kangaroo's friend Mr Green-Jeans. Clarabell the Clown and Indian princess SummerFall WinterSpring on the Howdy Doody Show. At first the princess was a puppet, then the puppet was replaced with a actress. When Howdy Doody Show left the air the Clarabell actor became Captain Kangaroo.
Most animals, wild and domestic, will grow heavy winter fur in the fall to protect the from the cold. Some even change the color of their winter fur to white to camouflage them from predators. They will shed the heavy fur in the spring. The winter fur of some Goats is known as Cashmere, the Cashmere wool is used to make gorgeous clothing!
I didn’t know that only the winter fur is called Cashmere!
It is not the outer fur that is called Cashmere. Cashmere it is the soft down under the fur that keeps the Goat warm during the winter.
