Hilarious! I married at 20 and had the first child just before turning 23. We were clueless!!! (and thankfully, so) If we’d known the cost of raising a family, we might not would’ve.

I was married at 21. Had 4 children by 27. Hubby was in the US Navy, his Destroyer was constantly going out to sea. Birth of child 1, he was in Malta, child 2 he was in Spain, child 3 he was in Morocco. He finally made it home for child 4. Lol
He thought he might "re-up" for another 4 years. I told him it was OK with me, but he would have to take the 4 kids with him.
He didn't re-up!
