Band of Brothers was like that, too, as I recall. I only made it through about the first two minutes. My DH at the time said it was the most realistic portrayal of Viernam he ever saw.

My B-I-L was stationed in Germany during Nam. He qualified for marksmanship, and during his tour, brought his personal weapon back home.

He died recently from odd circumstances that was supposedly COVID. I don't believe it.

Supposedly COVID symptoms. He was on and off a vent. Something didn't seem right.

He should have been sitting upright (elevated) which is easier to breathe.

They had him laying flat. I was told by somebody else, that that is a no-no.

In summer 2023, I got COVID. I forget what variant, but my lungs were rattling. I was eating and cooking anything chicken related... and sitting upright since I couldn't breathe very well. It went away after a couple weeks, Heavy thick phlegm. I certainly didn't go anywhere

In the hospital they will lay people on ventilators flat on their stomachs (prone) or prop them up in a semi-sitting position. That's why I asked if he was lying flat on his back or on his stomach.

I knew where you were going with your questioning. You weren't the first one to suggest that.

I think my sister "froze" under the pressure of trying to make a snap decision, due to pressure from the vultures.
