I'm SOO MAD! Hit and run w/car

Thats a good idea, I don't think that dump of a place had cameras in their lots though. I will call them and ask though. Oh, yeah, I would never take my car to macco. I called up lexus and they take their cars to R and R downtown. My dad said he will get a list from the insurance company and we pick from that... the last time took in a car though it was years ago... on the Lincoln.

The only autobody program here... I dont know if I would trust them... I visited the area once and there were a few kids I was suspicious of.... but that is a good idea. I am sure they are under good supervision. I gotta keep your name in my head when I come across some car detailing questions! You're more helpful than the people on the clublexus forums. Thanks so much!

Don't you just HATE that?!!
DH's "new" used Taurus got whacked in his parking lot at work.
Someone scraped the side of my "new" used Focus at work...
Can't anyone just leave a stupid note?

i know how you feel, although, get use to it.....insurence will pay for it....my parents always made sure that i had a car that fit my fathers wealth satic and never drove anything past 2 years, it got dented ...it got fixed...( my horse once kicked the back end of my saab convertable) it got fixed...i've gone from driving high class cars to driving a 16 year old truck that i would not trade in for any thing in the world (it was the last gift my mother gave me before she died) "big red" ( my kids have named it that) has so far has been scratched, 1 window replaced, 1 cracked side miror, 1 huge dent (hit a post once when mending fence). and i got it in november...that's my toy......who knows it could of been a elderly person not knowing that hit you....my husband and i watched a 85 year old hit the side of a mini van, pull out and readjust her car got out and walked away.......big red is insured .......but knowing on where i live i know a high percent of the mexicans here are not.......as i see we pay the price of driving a high class car in diffrent ways....sorry abot your car

I don't know who you have insurance with but all the insurance companies I know of take calls 24/7. Local guys should have their "after hours" number on the door/window of place of business. You should contact them asap.

On the flip think of it this way the person who did it was probably drving an Escalade ---so at least it would have been hit by someone elses expensive toy

I wish, but everyone in that area is poor and poorer... nothing against them, but alot of times their kids get unruly and lack respect... which is why I rarely drive to that part of town.

I went to a few collision places today and picked the one with the best looking shop and reliable looking people. Big place and owners been around for 30 years at that location and owns it all. Nice cars on the lot and didn't look like a hole in the wall like some of the other places. Insurance was 250 dedicutable and I'll have a side ding fixed at the same time for an extra 60 or so since that side is going to be repainted anyways. Only 1.3k of damage!

since putting down the area that you we're looking in wouldn't it be nice to GIVE a donation to a youth center in that area maybe it would MAKE A CHANGE in a unruly kids life.......
