I'm tired of deceptive postings

K so someone was asking what to use to wash their eggs and I put this:
I have a neighbor that is an older lady and she used to have chickens out the wazoo lol. She told me that the only think I needed to use on eggs would be cold water and the occational wash cloth? I would get some more input on this though before you go listening to me cause I'm not sure.

That isn't something that ya'll are mad about is it? That is what I do and don't believe it to be descriptive is it? I was jsut wondering cause I really dont want to make anyone mad at me because i'm not sure what i'm talkin bout.

I just don't respond and leave a thread if it seems weird.

It is the internet and we need to keep that in mind. i don't think i would put alot of energy into getting angry.

It's, from what I gather, about people who come here and use the forums as a way of collecting info that they use for maybe marketing etc... or people, like that one fiasco, who outright lie and create these outrageous stories to draw people in.

I'm not talking about the typical poster seeking information about their own chickens, I'm referring to people who are "fishing for information" for other intentions, but aren't upfront about what they are doing or what the information is used for, for one example.
