I'm actually very happy that I canceled my order. It wasn't sitting easy with me at all. I needed the input so that I knew it wasn't just buyers remorse... that it was founded on something I couldn't yet articulate.

Oh, about the Campbell/Runner question--I have no personal experience, only what I've read in Storey's Guide. He lists Campbells at 250-340 eggs per year & Runners at 150-300.

Obviously, he could be wrong, or someone else's experience could be different. So perhaps they are "on par," and the information on the Nature's Hatchery site is accurate.

I'm always willing to be found to be wrong.
