How much water? She needs at least 30ml per kilogram every 6-8 hours, I doubt you gave her that much. My 30 gram chick gets 2ml every 6 hours to keep it's crop moving.

She probably coughing because she inhaled the water you gave. Get yourself a tube, please.

For the first few days I would give her only soft foods--a little yogurt, eggs, applesauce, chick crumble mixed with water, but no whole grains at all. Only you can judge if she needs antibiotics--if her cough is due to a respiratory infection it may help, but if it is due to feeding problems where she vomited or choked, it might not help. Does she have sutures in her crop wound? These can sometimes get infected, so watch them and keep an antibiotic ointment applied.

no ............the wound is good and she is not having any problem with those..........and thanks for the post
