Impacted crop, need help!

@azygous
Just finished the Epsom salt. He hasn’t eaten at all today. I also had to give him the Epsom salt water via syringe. He didn’t want to drink on his own. He’s only pooped one time and it looked just like the other poops I posted.

Good work. Let's see how is is come morning. The salts should stimulate his intestines to move. Hopefully, some of what's blocking him comes out in his next poop.
He will be inside tonight. I palpated his abdomen and it’s harder then the other males I palpated for comparison.
I sure hope this works. A gently massaged his crop and he spit up a couple meal worms he ate yesterday. I didn’t mean to do that but it smelled awful and very fermented. I’ve put a lot of time into this guy. Hope he pulls through.

No change. Except he hasn’t drank or eaten in at least 36 hours. He pooped a few times last night and it’s all the same. Crop is still full of fluid. He’s still inside so I can monitor him.

Right after I posted he pooped this but it just looks like dark Cecal poop? It’s more than what he has need doing.

Should I try and empty his crop again? i know it’s risky. I just want to help this guy so bad. He’s just getting weaker and weaker on me and nothing has made an improvement. When I emptied his crop before I did get a small clump of thick grass out and a couple long thin pieces of grass. I wonder if there is more? IDK. I feel like I’m getting desperate.

Cecal poop is good.

That crop staying fluid filled is concerning. I know, been there. I've been able to resolve a fluid filled crop many times, but I did have one I could not, but don't give up. Keep working on him.
Let's see what Carol (@azygous ) thinks, but I'd be inclined to try one more epsom salts flush. You did the Molasses flush toward the beginning of this, but it didn't really seem to help. The Epsom Salts seems to at least produce a little results.

Only worry is he's not drinking so he needs hydration. Sounds counterintuitive since the crop is so full of fluid.

Emptying the crop is totally up to you. Yes, there's risk of aspiration, choking and/or dying for sure.

I emptied it a little today as I was massaging. It suprisingly didn’t stink too bad.There was still some grass in there so I’m thinking it’s grass that’s impacting him maybe? The grass we have here is the thick, 7ft tall pasture grass. There was also mealworms, dissolved feed, a little oil, and some white mucousy looking gunk I think was the miconazole.
I was looking on a chicken vet talk group and there was talk a couple times of an enzyme supplement for humans that helps dissolve foods. Cellulase? I think. It supposedly can help dissolve grass/food. Anyways, I ordered some. It’ll be here tomorrow. Worse case scenario it had good reviews and I could use a gut boost anyway. Can’t hurt to try it on him. I’ll keep trying the oil, massages and offer fluids. His crop feels completely empty other then fluid and little bits here and there. I’m sure the blockage is further down.
I’m doing what I can for him but he’s definitely getting sick of my stuffing things in his mouth. 😅
