I have a chicken who seems to have sour crop because I hear gurgling and smell coming from her mouth but the crop isn't squishy at all, I'm not even sure if it feels impacted.
She has eaten some rice and grit. I never see her drink but she must be drinking something as she's still alive after a few days of being separated.
I've tried some coconut oil down her and some massage with no results. When I pick her up and feed her/massage her crop she definitely looks like she has something stuck b/c she will open her mouth and adjust. She sometimes shakes her head and sneezes but I don't think it's respiratory. I hear gurgling down in her crop.
What's my next step? ACV, yogurt, some other yeast treatment? I'm worried that she's not drinking at all too.
