Impacted Crop? Please Help

Hi, I have a 8 month old old english bantam rooster who isn't acting like himself for the past few days. His crop seems to stay the same size, he's losing weight, he stands around with his eyes closed and ruffles his feather. However, whenever I talk he opens his eyes and runs around.I massaged his crop gently earlier, but it doesn't seem to have done much. He will eat but not drink. Thanks! Happy Thanksgiving.

Could he have eaten a lot of grass or straw? Do you feel anything solid when you massage his crop?

Have you ever wormed him?

I could feel the feed we feed them, barley, peas, oats, and such. I have not wormed him or the other 3 OEB's, the others are fine.

Have you done the calculations to ensure he is receiving the proper nutrient requirements with the homemade feed mix or are you just feeding him a random mix you put together?

We do the same amount as feed mills make.

I fed him coconut oil and now his crop is smaller!
