Impacted crop?

Hello everyone, quick question :
I noticed my lavender Orpington was having green poop (picture attached) for the past 3 days. Sometime liquid, sometime pudding like, and sometime with chunks of feed in it. She is not eating any veg so it not her diet. Her looks and behavior are normal (she is going through a molt, maybe halfway through by now), eating and drinking normally, and also still pooping.
I noticed this morning her crop was still full and hard. Just wondering the best route to go, and if the two are related. Thank you!

Sounds like she’s blocked up and not getting the nutrition she needs. You can give her regular doses of coconut oil and crop massages to try to help move the mass along. Also consider worming if you haven’t done that recently.

I spent the day massaging my girls crop, which was firm but able to be maneuvered with the help of coconut oil (I put it liberally over some scrambled eggs, along with the contents of a 100mg docusate sodium soft gel. She didn’t eat the entire dish but I think got enough to help). Her crop went down significantly until it felt like a deflated beanbag.
Here’s the question: I checked on her throughout the day and it seemed like her crop was filling with liquid, almost like pudding texture. No stink or sour smell, and I was able to massage it down every time, but it kept filling every time I checked every couple hours. She wasn’t eating much that I saw, but definitely drinking. Liquid bilious poops, which I somewhat expected from the stool softener and oil, but the bile is concerning to me, like nothing actually moved through and she still has an obstruction.

Should I treat for sour crop? I did massage it down to nothing before bed, so I’ll be interested if it is full in the morning before she’s out.
And secondly, when would I treat for worms? Immediately or after her crop/digestive issue resolves?

Thanks in advance, I really appreciate any and all advice!

Sometimes an impaction can slow the crop down for long enough that yeast builds up. The result is usually a doughy like mass in the crop. It’s generally better to try to clear the impaction before addressing the yeast. But if her crop gets doughy and big and doesn’t empty well then you may need to go ahead and treat for sour crop.

See how her crop is in the morning/each morning and take it from there. If her crop is actually emptying, just slowly, I would be inclined to worm her immediately.
