impacted / pendolous crop.

Hello.
One of my young hens has an impacted crop. I have been keeping her indoors in my shower for a week now. Her crop became huge.
I suspect she either ate plastic string, or straw. she is eating very very little, in a week her crop only shrunk by half.
I already tried some olive oil, but no success.
Is there something else i can do, or she has to be euthanized?

How hard is the impaction you feel when you massage the crop and about what size is it now?

Have you been massaging her crop regularly with oil to help break up the impaction? Does she still have access to grit? Here is a good article on treating crop issues:

If she ate plastic string she's going to have a hard time passing that on her own and her best shot is a vet who could do crop surgery and remove the impaction, though I know that is often not an option.
