IMPATIENT for my chicks to arrive! Anyone else?

My little ones should arrive March 13 to the 16 from McMurry. Iam waiting not very patiently for the e-mail when they ship them. 20BRs and 5 Acananas (sp) First time with babies and I know my husband is tired of hearing me complaining waiting for them. I was close to a tractor supply yesturday but they don't start getting babies till next week. Probley a good thing.

Or I would have ended up bringing some home. Brooder has been ready for 2 weeks now.

Chickitus?.... Is that what I have? Finally, I can tell my husband. Sounds like it's contagious. Is there even a cure? Mine are hatching/shipping 3/21. This is my very first time with chickens. I'm a nervous wreck.

1 Australorp

1 Barred Rock
1 Partrich Rock
1 Buff Orpington

I'm in this with ya'll my 25 LF Light Brahma's + 1 mystery chick will be arriving March 28th from McMurray!! Hurry up and get here fuzzy butts!!! Why oh why did I place the order for so far out???!!!! What was I thinking!!!????? I am going nuts waiting for them to get here and driving my BF insane in the process! He has already told me on several occasions he's had it with my chicken shenanigans, could have something to do with me being impatient and adding chickens randomly because I am so impatient waiting on my first chicks to get here!

I feel ya'lls pain, my friends on Facebook are REALLY REALLY tired of me counting down the days till they arrive on there. I think I have successfully agitated everyone in my life with my chicken madness!

I am getting my 2nd order from Ideal in the morning and praying that my packaging peanuts are not RIR because I do want to keep a couple roosters.. but hopefully it is one of the breeds I already have...

So here is to KMFX for BO, BA, or BR packaging peanuts ... so then I don't have find all of them homes or freezers..lol

From Ideal? That's bad news, I ordered them too and they were supposed to ship today or tomorrow but I haven't gotten an email yet. I ordered months ago so maybe I'll get mine. Where are you? I'm just outside of Portland Oregon.

Nope not from Ideal, I'm up here in the great North woods Wisconsin
so ordered from the closet hatchery Purely Poultry, in Fremont,
any suggestions for good friendly white egg layer, not leghorns? I'll go see what tractor supply has tomorrow I guess. Ty all. Kim

Ok my chicks are suppose to be on there way, no idea if they are didn't get a confirmation on it but my ship date was today.
Now I'm so worried last week we went for a bike ride, it was almost 50 degrees, now these last 2 days we have gotten the worst snow storm of the year,
Thunder snow sleet, rain and almost 19 inches of snow total, its 25 degree's up here, my poor horses have been shivering for 2 days I keep bringing them in and drying them off only to find them in the same condition 2 hours later, they are half shed out already, and now it's freezing...........gggggggggrrrrrrrrrrr I hate Wisconsins, winter/Springs,
so much nicer when its warm by now. wish us luck with our babies, they will need it any suggestions on helping them de-stress and un-thaw would be greatly appreciated.
Kim
