Imprinted gosling and lonely goose conundrum...

I have no interest in trying it, but I guess you lightly pull down the skin around the vent, applying pressure to the sides, until "it" pops out. You can find videos for it. I understand it is risky and is a skill.
 
No, they look alike when are young and adult, the only way to tell is if he gets older and breeds with the goose or lays eggs
 
He/she is two weeks old. Old to be adopted by a goose, but she does not seem to mind. I had a chicken hen take week+ old chicks, and it was her first hatch.
My pair adopted 3 week old goslings and to this day are still their babies and they are now a year old [ the babies]
