improving debeak

My BO has a difference in length of lower and upper beak of between 1/3 inch. Any opinions of whether I could shorten the bottom beak, or should I leave well enough alone? Comments? Karen

As long as she's not losing weight, I'd leave the beak alone.

NOOOOOOOO dont cut the bottom one shorter then she won't be alble to eat.

To keep them from pecking each other. Which probably wouldn't happen, but just in case. It's sick and wrong.

I would just make sure that she has bowls of food deep enough that she can scoop up the food with her lower beak. A full lower beak is like a spoon for her. For special treats, instead of just tossing hers on the ground, I would give hers in a little bowl, already minced up. I would do this, because all my pets are spoiled.
