My EE feathered out quick, and has small comb and almost no wattles, also has rounded saddles and hackles, but had some occasional red feathers.

Males don't get their male-specific feathering until at least 12 weeks old, so they would all have rounded hackles and saddles at their age.

Size doesn't really help in sexing EEs. Do you have any pictures of her?

Thanks, I've been working hard on these birds. It'll probably take longer then my Project Wheaten Crele Orpingtons.

Will the giant silkies eventually look like standard silkies, just huge? In other words, will they just be big huge cottenballs?

I had one start saddling at 6½ weeks.

I have one that is almost 8 weeks old that seems to be growing in some of his pointy feathers.
