So I understand what part the Sumatra and brahma play but what about the ee and silkie?
And why EE, seems like a lot of variable there.
Would it breed true?

The silkie is for black skin, & Walnut comb.
The EE is for more of a Gamefowl type face along with Brahma, & occasional colored eggs.
The Easter Egger I'm using is black Birchen, split to silver, & gold.

I gotta restore the other pictures I have of him.

It will breed true after many generations of breeding.

Also if you plan to create a new breed wouldn't you want to start with chickens that match their sop not hatchery chickens?

I'm only selecting the best out of the hatchery birds, since I can't afford really high prices for Show Quality birds, except for some SQ Silkie hatching eggs I ordered from an Ohio breeder last year. It was $35.00 for 6 eggs. That was the best price that I can afford with out spending a fortune.

To me it looks almost as if the shortened beak would prevent them from foraging as well as they should.
