"Uh...It's fine..." Vincent said, but didn't get any closer. He just kind of wished that she'd step away from his dirt bath, but it seemed she wouldn't. He shook his fur and dirt clouded around him for a few seconds before it settled and he was clean again. He started licking his paw.

Vivian slunk away with her mouse, devouring it in some nearby bushes. She kept her eye on Vincent though, just to make sure he was friendly.

Vincent trotted back over to the dust bath and played with a large beetle that had flown in it. He didn't pay much attention to Vivian, since if she decided to attack him he'd probably win since he was bigger and more muscular.

Grabbing the beetle with both of his paws, he rolled on his back and dug his claws into it playfully.
