I have been noticing that one of my buffs has been trying to mount other hens but I figured it was a pecking order/dominance thing. Iām not even sure which buff has been doing it. Itās one of two out of the four. One of my buffs is low on the pecking order and stays to herself. Sheās my buff thatās raised two clutches. My other buff that I donāt suspect is my cross beak. Iāll be more observant and looks for signs of physical change.A damaged ovary can cause a hen to grow a big comb and wattles and look like a rooster. It definitely looks like a rooster.
