In Honor of Easter - For all those that have lost someone

Thanks Deb - that was beautiful. I had not seen that video before. It was very touching.

Many, many years ago, when I was thirteen and my brothers 10 & 8, my father took me shopping on Holy Thursday evening to buy a new Easter outfit. My mother was bedridden having just had gall bladder surgery. It was a real treat to go shopping with my father and we had a great time. He even treated me to snacks at the Carmel Corn place in the mall. It was the best time we ever had together. He died in his sleep that night, of a heart attack. He was 49 years old. The funeral was the day before Easter.

Bless you for sharing such touching memories with us. Hope you have a wonderful blessed Easter.

My goodness...how awful to experience at such a young age, I'm so sorry. I'm sure the memory of that day brings you some comfort in knowing what a wonderful time you and your father had and has stayed with you all these years. Bless you.

that was beautiful.....this easter falls on the day my mother died 21 years ago.....April 12 1988....I still miss her very much....

I wasn't able to view the video - not available in my country. Today would have been my father's 63rd birthday. He wasn't at peace when he was with us, but I know he is now.

When my Uncle Ronald passed away in 2000 , my Aunt asked me to speak at his service, I also had this song played . I cry everytime I hear it.
