In need of duck copulation clarification

Well, I'd want to save the duck. People just told me not because that's the normal way they mate and it will effect their lives in some sort of way.

Normally people do just stand by and laugh so I was just confused on if I should or be able to intervene their 'normal mating process'

Normal mating and killing a duck are 2 separate things. If the ducks life is in danger then I'd not be able to stand by and watch and laugh about it. If it's the normal way of mating and the duck has ducklings they will die also because they won't have their mama any longer. If it is just one on one duck to drake mating that is a different story.

Duck mating is not for the faint of heart that's for sure.
