In need of help

Just snuck an egg out and opened it up. The shell was like glass. There was a "skin" inside the shell that was crispy. It most likely died right after lockdown... debating on opening the rest

Will they all be this way?

If you dont have any external pips you can take them out and candle for internal pips and movement. If you don't see anything then float test them.

I did as you suggested and found that 2 of the 11 appear to have internally pipped. We pulled the others out and put those two back we will see in 24 hrs where we are... worst case scenario- we got 14 more eggs to try again.

Why did you pull the others? Dont be to quick to think they are dead. At least open them at the air cell, starting with a tiny hole. See if you can locate the beak and help them get some air. Some hatches are tough, but its worth it in the end.

We did open them. Some of them actually smelled bad ... the ones we pulled were not alive by any means and by the looks of it they had all died at various stages of development ranging roughly between day 4 and day 18 or 19 ...

It just dawned on me... I do not think that the two eggs we still have are alive either... if the were, wouldn't we hear chirping? I read somewhere that once they pop they start chirping..
