Ales walked out to the woods behind his house. He always liked to spend his summers there and this summer would be no different. There were so many mysteries out there that he loved to explore. Once he got a little ways into the woods he heard voices which was very unusual so he crept towards them. Soon enough he realized that it was some girls and a horse so he decided to approach them.
"Hi" he called out to them.

Rachel looked over her shoulder, taking her gaze off Sunny. "Hello," She greeted him warily

"We decided to go for a trail ride." She answered, standing up and going over to stand next to Livvie, planning to pick her up and quickly put her on Sunny if this strange guy posed to be any threat to her or her friends. Since Livvie has a prosthetic leg, she knew it would be harder for her to escape.

Rachel smirked. "I don't know how long the others have known about it, but I've known it was here since I was three years old. My Grandma took me here all the time back then, and now I come here a lot with my horse since my Grandma can't make the journey anymore."

Rachel shrugged and clicked her tongue. Sunny reluctantly left the pool and trotted to her side. Rachel mounted and then allowed Sunny to go back into the pool, where she splashed around joyously, letting out soft, excited nickers.
 
Livvie nervously smiled “I’m going to head back” she said gently stroking Sunny’s neck “my Dads going to wonder where I am.” She gave Alex a tentative smile and turned to Brooke and Rachael “nice to meet you both”. Turning She limped back up the track and finally her house came into view. She saw her mare turn and wicker softly. A sudden sob burst from her throat. Tears trailed down her face. Seeing those girls today made her long to be able to ride and laugh with them. She let herself into the paddock and stood there stroking her mare.
 
Livvie decided she was sick of being that girl who couldn’t ride, that girl who limps everywhere. Livvie grabbed the lead rope and clipped it on Tanna’s headstall. She lead her through the gate and tied her up. Livvie grabbed a brush and groomed her mare. She then proceeded to grab the saddle and bridle tacking up Tanna. She limped over to the fence and hoisted herself up onto the rails. Placing her prosthetic leg into the stirrup Shen flung her leg over the saddle. She sat there breathing deeply “it’s ok” she whispered softly. She quietly nudged her mare with her heels. Suddenly Tanna bolted galloping through the woods square towards the river. “WATCH OUT!!” Livvie screamed.

She saw a horse barreling toward them. She screamed and tackled Brooke, pushing her out of the path of Tanna. Once the horse had passed, she stood up and sprinted after the runaway horse. She quickly grabbed Sunny's bridle and hauled her along beside her. She got Sunny to a canter before mounting her while she was running, then pushed her into a gallop and followed the trail of broken tree limbs until she saw Livvie on her horse not too far away from her.
