In the emergency of a natural disaster where do you move your chickens?

That’s fine, hope I didn’t cause any problems, was never my intention.

Was just curious, with so many fires about, was just wondering which one was affecting you guys, all good, please take care, it is going to be a long summer I think.
It’s fine I don’t mind u didn’t mean any harm

Don't worry at all, every Australian will tell you the four seasons in Australia are Flood, Fire, Drought and cyclone.

It's an everyday thing in Australia and the people are used to it. A lot of fires result out of boredom, sad but true.
Yup. Yup. Yup. Everything you said is true

It’s going to Be a very long summer this year I think

Ok I apologise if this is in the wrong section but I couldn’t decide where’s to post this. I have 7 hens and a rooster, I live in nsw Australia. It is catastrophic fire conditions down here featuring hot winds and dry grass and already crazy fires. This doesn’t just apply to me but I’m almost certain multiple other families all over the world are thinking the same things I am. If we have to evacuate tomorrow how do we move the animals? In particular the chickens. Rabbits and guinea pigs are easy as are the horses and dogs but the chickens. How long can they sit in a car? Where are suggestions of places we can move them? You see our friends with property May and possibly are under the same conditions. This could apply to all sorts of natural disasters. But in particular my situation is bad because we have a under control bush fire burning not 50 k’s away from us....
Thanks in advance for your response.
I think

I thought about this too and I’m further south. I also thought about a dog crate for the chooks and pet carriers for the cats. Grab a bale/bag of hay, food, bowl, water bottle or bowl, kitty litter and box. Maybe a towel to chuck over the chooks at bedtime. A rubber glove to remove chook poo to keep the crate reasonably fresh. I hope tomorrow is as drama-free as possible. :(:fl
If you are short on car / truck space, as I'm sure you need some for photos, etc., I'd skip things like litter, and plan to use dirt or sand wherever you end up. Please stock your vehicle with water and food NOW so if you need to evac you can leave quickly! Hoping you have your documents, medications, etc. in a bag, ready to go. A tarp, rope, and trees or sticks will provide shade for all of you, if needed. I'd have those cages at the coop for speed of packing...

Good news guys my grandparents have a dog crate that was given to them and it’s quite large so we can transport the chickens in it as they are giving this to us
That's great news. How close are they now and do you know where you'll go if you have to evacuate?
