In the emergency of a natural disaster where do you move your chickens?

Just sending love and prayers, that you are all safe. Was hoping everyone was taking their hens with them so scary the vulnerability of animals as their lives depend on us. We chose them they had no choice, so our responsibility to care for them and keep them safe.

Yep, I would do everything I could to rescue them should that fire threaten us but at the end of the day you can only do so much the rest is left up to fate. Thanks for the prayers sent out Way it helps just to know people are thinking if our communities in these crisis times

Hate to be that guy but I’m just opening the gate and they can rescue themselves. In the event of a fire or flood I don’t have anywhere i can take 30+ chickens. And anything else, like a tornado, would come to fast to do anything anyway.

Yep. I totally understand your point of view but I only have 4 hens and a rooster and somewhere to take them but I have rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs and a horse as well. Horse and dogs are #1 priority with us of course but they are definitely number 1 after us
