In the morning: feeding time. ???

I do not put feeding my coops or water. My chickens are only in there at night while sleeping so they do not eat or drink at that time. Their door is opened every morning at 4 am. They free range from 4-8 am then at 8 am I come out with their feed. Usually they have feed still out from the day before but I always empty out what they haven't eaten. Their water is always filled every day, it's a gallon waterer, plus I make them a puddle of water with the hose daily that they splash and drink from. At 5 or 6 pm they get their treat which is usually leftovers from dinner and around 9 pm they get shut in their coop.

My chicks are basically on the same schedule except they have constant feed since they rarely eat all their feed due to them free ranging with the older chickens.
