Columbian Wyandottes, but not true to standard. Some of them have single combs instead of rose combs, and two of them have too much of the dark feathering. But I'm not interested in show standard, I'm interested in quality of character. They're friendly, docile, and great egg layers.
Your picture is very nice. Have you ever entered any photos in the calendar contests? This one would have been a nice entry (if you didn't).

Diva...The bottom log/logs burn, then when they are down, the next ones drop. No hauling wood! You just have to hope none of the top ones tumble over the others. Or, if the fire gets high, hope the others don't catch fire. I've been thinking about this this thing since I saw it.
