in this random rambling thread we post random pictures

Man, we got snow! The most we've gotten in years. And, we aren't done yet. Snowing off and on until Friday! Of course Missy loved it.

Following my hubby to the shed where my chicken feed is.

Made it.

Shoveling me a path to the chckens!

Got the gate open to the coop/run.

Poor chickens..should have put a tarp up on the sides! They just hang out on that roost,
or go inside. Even that end run has snow in it. :/

Big dog loved the snow. Little dog didn't. Brody went potty, then ran all the way back to the door!

Lol! We had a Pekingese once. A broad dog with short legs. She loved the snow so much. She'd be like the ice breaking ships, except with snow. She'd raise up on her hind feet and drop down into the fresh snow. In effect, packing down the snow in trails. The other little dogs would patiently wait behind her while she did her paths throughout the yard. In no time it look like a maze. Now, I'd always shoveled an area for them to go potty, but it was never where they wanted and not good enough. And of course with the Great Dane, it doesn't matter, he likes to run Seabiscuit, kicking up a giant rooster tails of snow. :)

thank you makes me remember to date 2017 on a few checks before hand , so I don't screw them up.
Thats a great idea!!

Nicky what a wise Peke, do you have any photos of her? My first Cocker loved the snow , the many to follow, did NOT!! They'd "hang on," until I got a potty path shoveled for them.

Her name was Sugar. But we loved to call her Shoogie Boogie. She'd wag her tail and her whole bottom would too.
