I remember I used to have constant battles with turkeys. They have some strange habit - to fly up higher in the evening and sit there, fundamentally not wanting to come down. And then a heavy rain lashes down, a thunderstorm, lightning, and this bird sits somewhere on the roof of the gazebo all wet, and I climb up there on the ladder, pull it down, it fights with me, breaks free, and I carry it into the barn under the roof and close the door so that it does not climb back out and sit on the roof again.

Last spring I had a couple of peppers that didn't fit in the greenhouses. I thought about it and just planted them on the window in ceramic flower pots. In the fall they yielded a harvest, but didn't wither, I thought about it and decided to leave them, to look at them. And in February peppers grew on them again, although they are smaller than those in the fall, but quite edible.
