Outside of color, looks a lot like a 91 Explorer I bought my daughter for a beginner car.years back. It lasted through two daughters.
I'm the third owner. The first was a man who had cancer and purchased her to take him across country to see the sights. When he died, a man bought it for his daughter who was in vet school. The Bronco took her back and forth from home to college (600+miles each way) for several years. The vet worked with me and when the tranny died in the Bronco, I purchased it. The hubby rebuilt the tranny, motor and I've driven her for 20 or more years. This year she is getting new drum brakes, new water pump, new ABS pump, and whatever else pops up. This Bronco made a grown man cry. I was transporting a driveshaft to be repaired when an older man approached me and started talking about the one he had. He teared up talking about camping trips with the wife and kids in his Bronco. He really started bawling when I showed him the original window sticker and the carefully written notes from her first owner. I learned that day to never underestimate the true value of a classic car-even the ones that are not popular.
