I'll admit bats eat lots of the bugs the chooks like to eat, but so do the puppy and kitties... It's a dog eat bug world out there.

Preston, I DID catch the momma with baby attached. I never knew they carried them around like monkeys do. Or maybe I was just too afraid of bats to learn anything about them. When we go to the zoo my brother always wants to walk thru the area where the bats are hanging from the ceiling - I sit that one out..

Years ago - late at night, I could see the bats flying back and forth chasing bugs attracted to the one street light. It's been a long time since I have seen then - maybe they found another cafeteria or their numbers are dwindling, like the bees.
