I actually feed my wild buzzard flock, cracked eggs, etc. They see me walking with "their bucket" straight back to the right corner of my lot, so they will leave the tree & glide with me, right above & behind me, as I walk. Passerby folks gawk with open mouths when they see that.Lots of buzzards here this morning..I'm not that old!

My daughter had a neighbor, who had a pet buzzard. She found it injured, when it was young, raised it with her baby chicks.
