In your experience, do your chickens forget you when you go on vacation for a week?

They won’t forget you! Chickens are highly intelligent and recognize faces - we live in NC but our whole family is in NY so we take 10 day vacations regularly and everyone is fine when we get back - act normal and my cuddly chickens are still cuddly.

I second what @Aapomp831 said. Chickens are much smarter than many people give them credit for being. They will remember you!

They won't forget you and when you come home they will all run/fly to greet you and it will make you feel like the most important person in the world.

I got back home from a week vacation the first week of June and they were all very excited to see me when I got home

Wow I’m back and there twice their size! I couldn’t tell if they remembered me because they were trying to sleep but I held one of them and talked to them a lot so we’ll see in the morning!

Just to clarify they’re only seven weeks now so that’s where they grew they’re not Full grown chickens growing.
