In your opinion what did this

Well we caught a raccoon in one of the traps we set, I just don't know if a raccoon would actively hunt out in the open during the day so close to our house? We live in a very rural area on 30 acres. So far the supervised free ranging is working out. I want to build a nice big enclosed run for them, right now its a small 6x6.

Both hen and duck were taken at the same time so it is extremely unlikely that they were taken by two different predators! Smh

Um, no different times. There were 3 birds taken..so I stand with a predator from the air in the morning and possibly a raccoon at night.

"I know that the first two birds were taken between 6:30pm and 7:30pm and I think the third was taken between 6:30am-9am. "

What’s your point ? They were all taken around evening time.
It’s very “unlikely” that they were taken by two different predators.

No they weren't--two in the morning and one in the evening. That is my point. A raccoon is not likely to hunt in the daylight and a hawk is not likely to hunt in the evening.

Do you have any ideas on what other predators may of taken his birds ? Around ‘early morning’ and ‘evening’ time ?
