Here is a picture I snuck in their coop. I will get another of her back tomorrow. I just love the colors. I am a sucker for grey birds, but the buff with the grey is just so great.

You could get pretty consistent colors like that if you cross the daughter back to the father, since she’s blue and partially gold laced. The father is black and fully gold laced. You’ll get 50% blue and 50% black offspring if you cross them together. Also, you’ll have a 50% chance of getting offspring with mottling (white spots) since it’s a recessive trait.View attachment 2964191
