Inbreeding

I decided to inbreed with my silkies and after they hatched I kind of thought I might have messed up. Out of 55 chicks 11 of those had bad toes, but I think the good ones out weigh the bad ones greatly. I have some super offspring. Much better than my last year offspring. The good ones are really good with great toe spacing and heavy foot feathering. I have one hen that has less than perfect toes and I think the bad ones are coming from her. So, I plan on taking her out of that pen.

So, I think the excellent offspring I am getting far outways the bad offspring, but any suggestions would be great!

Really glad you started this thread, since I have been debating on what to do for about a month now.
