Incredible! Someone on Ebay is using my pic

I do not agree that pictures I have taken and own can be used by anyone else without my permission. In addition, they are advertising hatching eggs for sale, as if they were fertilized by this rooster, which is fraud.

We have reported them to Ebay as well for fraud, so I expect the auction to be shut down soon.

Above the blue line where it says welcome, then your name, click account options, then scroll down to the album settings box, use the drop down box where it says
my album is, choose private, then click save.

They could have gotten anyone's picture off this site by right-clicking. My album is set to private and has been for awhile, so BYC had to be where I believe they got my coop picture for their Craigslist ad. Still doesn't mean they are entitled to use it. Jody's pic on there is implying that her rooster is one of their breeders.

This is exactly right! It is fraud. If I was going to bid on some eggs off of Ebay, then I would be looking at the breeding stock as well. Since that is the rooster posted, then that is who I would assume is the daddy, so it IS fraud no matter how you try to look at it. If someone can't see it as such, then something is terribly wrong.

I always thought if you took the picture it could not be used by any one else unless you sold them the copyright to that pix.I know my GD took a pix of their old house and I really liked it and she had it blown up for me, the guy in the photoshop wanted to buy the pix from her but she wouldn't sell. Wonder justwhatkind of eggs shelady on e bay is selling, since she has a store. marrie

This is what you can do if you are the devious type and the thiefs are directly linking to your pic in photobucket:

1. Rename the stolen picture on photobucket.

2. Revise your auction with the new name of the picture.

3. Put a DIFFERENT picture in photobucket, but name it the SAME name as the one originally stolen. This new pic will now show up in the thief's auction.

Now, here's where it gets interesting: use any pic you like to get the point across that you don't take kindly to your pics getting stolen. You can add text to it saying "this seller stole this pic" or the like, or use a pic that wouldn't go over too well in an auction,

or both. Use your imagination and have fun!
