Burn 'em at the Stake!!! (Or here on BYC??) No, don't!!
Seriously, though, I hope she understands better that everything on the internet~~whether is says copyrighted or not~~should be considered as copyrighted. I try to teach that to my family, too......
I think if it were just one picture of one bird that isn't hers it wouldn't be so bad. However, I question whether or not any of the birds she pictures actually belong to her. Most of the pictures from her white orp auction are taken from a UK store called LPH Poultry: http://www.lphpoultry.co.uk/shop/shop.php?cat=21&maincat=8&sid=sideb090d24d5830631284f06224a68214e . I haven't looked to see if any of her other pics are on there but I am doubting if any of the birds she pictures actually belong to her.
I don't think anyone is saying they are perfect, but they are saying that what this woman is doing is wrong. If she were to post pictures she has gotten (with permission) from other sources and put a disclaimer on her auctions that the birds are not her stock but merely examples of the breed, no one would have a problem with it. In my opinion, not doing those two things makes it decitful. I hope that she corrects this now that it has been brought to her attention that it isn't the right thing to do.
