incubated 1-18 in carton , can i put on sides now?

Hey guys and gals

Its lock down day and i was just curious , ive had my eggs in cartons from day 1-18 and i was wondering if i could lay them on their sides to hatch now or should i leave them in cartons ?
Just looking for some advice.

It's up to you. Either way it will not hurt the eggs.

I personally like to lay them on their sides, but many people hatch eggs in cartons, aswell.

Just like ScissorChick, I like hatching on the side, if you think about it, the hen sits on the eggs when they are flat.
