Incubating and hatching eggs chat thread!!

Dont use that little one. I had one myself and it doesn't keep a proper humidity. It's a manual turn (even though it advertises auto) and while it has 7 spots can only hold 3 normal sized eggs. I've tried 4 hatches in it and it's never gotten the development past the first week. It's quite noisy as well.

Just discovered the incubator with the bobwhites was unplugged. I'm so upset!!! Plugged it back in but I don't have a clue how long it was unplugged

Sorry to hear that!! Are the eggs still okay?

I really don't know. I so hope they are. I'm taking the advice of another member and riding it out. If there is nothing by Friday I will clean the incubator out with a heavy heart.

Hi everyone!! My broody is SO annoying (she hasn't given up for a MONTH) and our egg rates have been down dramatically so we have decided to let her hatch an egg or two. She is a 10 months old buff orpington. This is my first time hatching ever. Do you have any tips?
