That's too bad....I don't know how mine hatched.
Was definitely a shock have more Chicks than shells in my incubator that morning..

Heck no.....I would quickly candle just to see movement and wasn't really caring how many hatched because they were for a friend.
The night before some hatched So removed all the shells. Had 4 more in the incubator and ended up with 4 shells and 5 Chicks when I got up. I was so shocked.

I have NO idea...
It was definitely a shocker. It was early morning and I was so confused.

I suspect it was the one armed man that sneaked overnight into your house and slipped an extra chick into your INCUBATOR.
They are known for throwing unsuspecting peeps curves
