Incubating duck eggs?

So I read this thing offline that said starting at day 10 I should must duck eggs once a day leave incubator lid off for 30 minutes then mist the eggs agian with Luke warm water and put the lid back on and continue to do this until day 26 I am curious to know if this actually works for the better so have any of y’all done this or have thoughts?

I did 4 batches of duck eggs last yeat and didnt do that. Had a pretty good hatch rate.
