Incubating ducks for the first time

Can you take the lid off, remove the thing the eggs sit on and take pictures of the base?
I dont know if you can tell or not but the other spots have holes

The wider the dish is the higher the humidity.

Actually, I would run at 33% humidity for the first week. I find that I can’t get big enough air cells if I run much higher than about 35%.

Yep, I can see the holes. You could try finding some shallow dishes and set them in those spots with holes.

Definitely try calibrating your hygrometer first though.
 
You could also plug those holes with q-tip swaps and place the incubator on a towel.
I thought about that, but then I wondered if Co2 build up would be a problem. I think most people suggest running these from day one without plugs too.
