Incubating eggs with no shell

Japanese hatched chickens with no shell, a plastic cup some water, saran wrap and an incubator.. I wonder what you would have to change to do it with Quail eggs?

Very interesting and a cool science experiment. But it seems like a lot more work/steps than just putting an egg in an incubator. I'd also like to know how many of the the eggs they cracked actually developed. There was only one chick running around at the end.

this is indeed true.

And it never showed anything hatching...

because there is no egg to hatch from. Close to the end you see a wet chick curled up starting to move around in the cup
