If I took the egg trays out could I fit a couple emu eggs in a 2362 Hova-Bator Incubator with fan?

I have 2 Emu eggs in my Hovabator w/fan. It does a good job keeping the lower temp and here in FL I don't fill the water tray, I fill up a plastic cup to keep the humidity at 33%

Quote:There is a thread around here somewhere on hatching them. This is my 2nd try, the first time was with shipped eggs and they were infertile. Up humidity close to hatch, around 50%

How far from hatch would you want to raise the humidity that high? At what time (if they are fertile) would you "know" someone is in there?
