Incubating in my bra

Wait, the temp was high enough yet the egg was cold. Was the egg incubated for more than a few days? Could it be that the egg did not have an active metabolism? I suddenly remembered that when candling eggs from under a broody hen, I noticed developing eggs feel *hot*, hotter than the hens skin. As if they were generating their own heat.
The egg was boobcubated for almost a full day. Never felt more than a bit warm, even after feeling it while in my bra.

Was worth getting my bra bloody to help save this one! It works!! 😹

Yup! Well kind of 😉
Hen kicked the egg out and when I found it was stone cold but with a pip! Warmed the egg in my bra, helped the hatch and let the cold chicken come to life in my shirt. I think we probably have a special bond now!
Cool!

That kind of rare, incredibly strong bond that comes from being... saved... by a lady's... chest bumps....
Eh, it's a bond.
Great that it hatched!
