Incubating Lavender Ameraucanas Dry Hatch or No?

How are your babies doing? Post more pics🤗 Usps keeps killing my eggs😫 But, I keep ordering more! I have 36 a cookin now! Lol I found a breeder that had some from the Paul Smith line.
Lost track of this thread! I’ve been primarily on the hatch alongs.
Can’t wait to see how yours come out! My last batch of lavenders that hatched on the 29th only resulted in three live chicks out of 14 eggs that were sent! Only 7 went to lock down. I couldn’t bring myself to do an eggtopsy on the ones that didn’t hatch so I don’t know if they were lavender or not I almost didn’t want to know! Of the three that hatched, one was blue and two were black, I sold them and have a new batch that are all supposed to be lavender this time. They are all being incubated upright in cartons and I haven’t turned them for five days due to wonky aircells! Due to hatch June 26, so only 5 days in. Doing everything I can from my end to ensure a good hatch. Let me know how you do with yours!😊❤️
Photo of the one blue that I hatched, apparently it was thrown in by mistake per the breeder. Sweet little chick but a friend really wanted it, so I sold it to her. Kind of regret that, now I have no ameraucanas!

Thats my hatch day as well! So cool! I love that sweet baby! I’ve been very consistent with the humidity and hoping for the best! We will have to compare notes🥰 What humidity level are you keeping? I have been keeping mine 35-45. When I can, I let it run lower but, cant do sponges if I will be gone too long and have to fill the pot on my Nurrure 360. The ones in my Little Giant are alive but, I have a hard time keeping temp and humidity balanced in that thing. Good luck with yours and post pics! I will for sure because it will be a huge day of celebration!🥳

Yes, if any of these hatch I am keeping ALL of them!:love
The chicks are the cutest of all chicks, I think, due to their little owly faces! Though I have some silkies that are pretty sweet, too!
I am doing dry incubation, which for me requires bringing the humidity down as my ambient humidity is 55-70% right now. I am trying to keep the humidity between 30-35% as I had success doing this with Marans eggs last month, also famous for being difficult to hatch. I think the humidity was too high on the Ameraucanas last time. I have Brinsea Mini and Maxi Advance incubators. I am doing everything by the shipped egg "book" if their was one! Not turning the eggs for 7 days, incubating in cartons upright, and I will start hand turning them on Friday, trying not to candle/handle too much.
We will see!
Good luck with yours as well!:)

Mine are coming straight from Paul this time! 2 dozen...he said to dry hatch
No way! No Fair! How dry? I live in Arizona, 20% humidity on average. I’m doin 45 at the highest. But, trying to keep close to 35 when I can. I have 14 from his line and 22 from hatchery stock. Cookin in two incubators. 60-65 at Lockdown?
