incubating pea eggs

i was wonder if pea eggs needed to be incubated on there sides or if they could be put in chicken trays like the turkeys. i just wanted to make sure before we take up a whole tray for them, last year we incubated them on there sides but we were not sure if they needed to be on there sides.

The general consensus these days is put them on their sides. We used to place them like chicken eggs though. I think we hatch a higher percentage now but that is related too many other issues as well.

I have found turkey and peafowl hatch better on their sides, my turn-x,roll-x,hatchrite all hatch on the side and roll eggs. i even layed them on the sides in the gqf sportsman.

now some of those higher price incubators, that run in the thousands may hatch on ends. IMO it increase my hatch rate about 10%
