Incubating peafowl

I also haven't put much effort...I looked a little today...not even in a dark room...3 of the 4 have air sacs....in a few days I'll take my good light and go in a closet if that's what it takes lol...I found another egg marked 6/22 it looks good inside of course I can't tell if there is movement and today would be day 23! I'll give it a little longer..... I have silkies, mini call ducks, peafowl, Japanese banty's phoenix banty's and lavender orpingtons in 3 different incubators!! orps are due this weekend

Did you put them under a peahen or a chicken? Either way, unless you're 100% sure that neither has cecal worms and/or the blackhead protozoa, your peachicks will be at risk for getting the dreaded blackhead (histomoniasis).

chicks are with a buff orpington.... she hatched 3 on Friday so she took this one no questions and it nuzzled under her!
Hopefully you'll get lucky, I didn't, I lost two last year. If your hen has been on a regular worming schedule that controls cecal worms, you're probably fine if you keep them off the ground.

mine have a nursery...yes off the ground with they're own playpen...my orpingtons are really wonderful mothers...there's momma 1 and momma 2....momma 1 is very easy going.... she lets me hold and pet her....she doesn't even mind if I hold her babies....she's sitting again....momma 2 isn't as tame with me but in true character a great mom! the one that was born this morning is yellowish but so whitish...my profile pic is the daddy...I'm hoping for some of his coloring! it's all fuzzed up out there and barely wobbly anymore...strong little one!
I haven't a peafowl yet! I'm incubating more eggs in a separate incubator...hopefully this time isn't so disappointing!

Gorgeous. Boys maybe. I am still learning. I think girls only have the color on the front of their neck at this age. Not real sure, maybe the one on the left back is a girl..... Geez, don't listen to me, I am still too new at it.
I just learned how to tell their gender at 2-3 months old and haven't gotten as far as the age on yours. There is a good group on FB that has been teaching me a lot. I know there are some good teachers on here, as well.
