Incubating Power Outage Question

I have scoured the search.

How long would eggs still be able to survive with a power outage?

Day 5, transformer blew in neighborhood. Four hours estimate to be on. Hopefully sooner.

I know with a broody they can still be viable with her being off up to 8 hours. Does the same hold for incubating?

As we have a broody right now, we put the eggs under her carefully. They were all set at same day/time. But 11 eggs may be too much for her lol

As long as eggs are not chilled excessively, they can survive for quite a while. One practice is to wrap the incubator in blankets/towels during a power outage to preserve heat.
